question for the EBR.
is the pistol grip replaceable? IE: could you replace it with a more ergonomic pistol grip .. say.. the G27 pistol grip? |

No. Installation of the EBR grip and AR style grip is different.

Bruce, don't mistake me I love the EBR look and this is actually why I was asking since I intend on getting myself an EBR eventually and exactly because of the looks of it. The thing is, I know this is a pricey project since I don't even have an M14 as of yet and was wondering what are the other good sides of building it besides its look so I can convince myself a bit more to invest into it.
When it comes to real steel, the EBR kit is really great because of the reliability of metal over wood as well as the vast possibility to add accessories on it but when it comes to airsoft, I was wondering what else could it do besides looking awesome. Anyways, thanks mate.

I wasn't offended by your question. It was a real good question that I'm sure would have helped others to decide if it's really worth their money to pick one up. I hoped that what I posted to your question may have answered some of your doubts.
Cheers man and I hope to see you in a game soon.

Sorry I got top this thread kinda late... Anyways, the real EBR body's ass is cut the same as an 870, is the airsoft version the same? Like can I mount an 870 full stock on this? The stock stock just looks too flimsy... Or will any of the previously mentioned stocks work? And the grip is not replaceable? Because it looks really uncomfortable, like youd have to bend your trigger finger upward to even get inside the trigger guard... And yeah, great work of art on the paint job, but... I dunno to me thats taking customization a little too far... It lowers your resale value, and a rifle ghillie works better anyways.

You would not be able to do this on the King Arms EBR which is what mine is. G&P has a conversion kit just for the full stock like you want. It comes with the stock. I don't know if a real stock could be used instead of the one provided in the kit. The G&P EBR also provides you with a motor mount which eliminates that step on the trigger grip on the KA's version.
http://www.gp-web.com/en/productspop.php?pid=1218 I have a rifle ghillie wrap that matches my suit but it's a pain to go crawling in the bush with it.

I'm not a big fan of the full stock ebr, for some reason just does not look right to me. I'm still a big fan of the original ebr kit.

Explain to everyone how a SUPERB paint job lowers the resale value... If anything it adds to the value of the gun.
