The sears will help precisely zero for power and accuracy. They are a reinforcement upgrade and that's it. They basically prevent your gun from immediately self-destructing. Even with upgraded sears there are other parts that will break eventually with the stock spring in the WELL rifles.
If you're looking for an upgrade for a VSR-10 clone that is relatively easy to install and will increase both accuracy and power get yourself a tightbore barrel. |

Uh oh. Bean you say that the outer diameter of the barrel is 23mm, so the diameter of the in-barrel end of the thread adapter must be about 21mm, right? Everybody told me to get the G-Spec thread adapter for the Well version but I think this may only fit the TSD, because the thread on the inside of the Well barrel cap is exactly 21mm. There goes 12 bucks plus S&H.

For the most part thread adaptor parts don't fit clones, atleast it didn't for my awful AGM. It took a fair bit of modding to get it fit, but I sold that junk and bought a TM VSR.

I've heard the G-Spec adapter fits the TSD clone fine, I'm just not sure about the Well but the TSD and the Well are basically identical.

For those of you looking for vsr10 parts, I ordered every one of those parts and more from out of Canada providers. sure they stayed in customes for a few days but they all made it to me no problem. so you shouldnt have too much truble importing those parts. the only part I was worried about was the reciever.
I ordered from.. UNCOMPANY REDWOLF XFIRE |

G-spec adapter doesn't fit the MB03, just the TSD. I believe the regular adapter will fit but I will order and confirm soon.

G-spec adapter does NOT fit the Well, if you have it then you need the Pro-Sniper version. Great upgrade/disassembly guide by the way bean

Hey guys,
now I know that there is handful of things that would benefit my stock Well MB03 off of airsplat.com, as in tightbore barrel, new piston set, laylax trigger, etc. but I really only want to put in less than $50.00. What would be best to get? |

$50.00? Well if you can find a cheap enough tightbore I'd do that. You know what you would benefit best from? Getting a TM.

I mean all things considered, don't you have to upgrade a TM, just as much? And suppose I really were to get a TM for like $200.00, wouldn't I have to upgrade the spring to even get close to the FPS of a cheap VSR-10 again?
And on that note, for the accuracy/range part of cheap guns, would it be better to get a UTG L96 or another Well MB03, assuming I use teflon tape upgrades and perhaps a hop-up rubber? Last edited by andthenhewent; November 23rd, 2008 at 14:00.. |

You'll find the accuracy of the stock TM will be better than the accuracy of the stock Well. Even at the lower fps, it will be better to use. Just use black bb's rather than white bb's and fps won't be too big of a problem. FPS doesn't mean much if your shot isn't going to go where you want it to. I actually ran a lower fps spring in my Well all summer and had no problem getting hits with it from upwards of 50 feet.
