Highly doubt it, or else it would have made it in the 6 o'clock news.

This seems to be the helmet they wear in season 2. A PASGAT in season 1. Last edited by Kozzie; February 29th, 2012 at 13:36.. |

Still working on the bottom portion of the patch and the SRU patch. Here's what I have so far.

I have finally located the exact cut of pants used by Toronto ETF, as well as Halton, Peel and I'm sure many other services. These are the same worn in Flashpoint:
Brand: MDC Tac Pant (Charcoal) Where: MD Charlton Sales. At their Mississauga store they are currently on sale for $85, regular $110+. The material is very heavy and I'd imagine they would be extremely hot to wear in the summer. The original cut was produced by Pacific Safety Products; ArmyIssue has some in navy blue. |

Good to know! I was always a little curious as to the exact make, and it's not that surprising that MD Charleton are the manufacturer. Their website/catalog is a little confusing and they are a *little* pricey (not overly), but their products are second to none. Hmm....perhaps I'm a little biased on that because I used to sell MDC products, and still use some MDC items on my duty belt LOL.

I've really been slacking on putting this loadout together. Between school and work had little time or money lately. Hopefully get the ball rolling this summer and will have some pics up ASAP. I am doing a placement with Durham Regional Police for the next 3 weeks for school. Gonna see if I can spend one of my days with the Tactical Support Unit just to check out the gear (most tac teams use similar stuff so I'm assuming it'll be very close if not the same to Toronto's ETF) I'll try and snap some photos, with permission of course, as I don't see it as being top secret information.

If anyone still needs help finding the vest, i remember a close up on Sam (Blondie) showing a ROTHCO logo where it's reinforced on the shoulder. It must be an older model, because all of the newer ones have straps on the back instead of the laces they have on the show. It's very similar to the Condor Elite Tac Vest, with the only exception being that the ETV has two reinforced shoulders instead of a radio pouch. I also remember seeing ROTHCO on a cuff of something, so that could have been for either the black jacket or the gloves. All in all, excellent work on pulling everything else together guys! Can't wait to see a pic of a loadout pulled off.

As an afterthought, i remember Sam taking his vest off for a few episodes, and he was definitely wearing a black Condor MOPC underneath, guessing for some added ballistic protection. Must be from his days in JTF2 before he joined the team, cause i can't remember anyone else wearing that underneath their vest. Most of them just have regular old police style ballistic vests underneath.

Noticed most of the Durham Tac guys had on a MOLLE plate carrier, similar to the CIRA. Also was at the supply depot, noticed they had some multicam and some MARPAT uniforms. I'd imagine TPS have similar stuff. Mostly wear the charcoal though.

Jeroon, any chance you could sweet talk your way into a couple of Hugh Dillon autographs for me? LOL I would love to see them shooting a few scenes.
