Based on the areas around the pistol grip, You'll notice that there is a difference in the real and airsoft versions. The airsoft version has a lower grip to allow room for the motor to fit. I'm sure there will be fit problems with the rest of the receiver mating with the stock also. It's not that the airsoft version is so much more expensive that a real SAGE stock, it'll be so much easier to purchase the airsoft version and know that it'll be an easy drop in conversion.

Op Sniper Hunt 2 game held by Red Tiger gave me a reason to paint it.
The batteries (9.6V 1700mAh) are now in the stock and the rail mount plattform on the scope has been removed. A vertical grip is used instead of the forward stock grip that came with the kit.

possibly a noobie question but where did you buy that from? Canadian store or international retailer? Cuz you said something about $600 bucks, which would be the american price, But i thought that these would not make it through customs. Or am i wrong? Hopefully i am, cuz if custom allows them, im getting one!

Just good old Krylon matt spray cans. They have a set of colors they call the Camouflage Paint System that I've been using. I'm getting too lazy to do something like what I did on my SPR. Takes less than an hour to do this and no, there's no matt varnish applied over the paint. Just the greasy hands that was fondling it at Sniper Hunt that makes it look a little shiney.

Same idea but using natural weeds, plants and roots as the mask. Just place it on the gun and give a shot of paint over it. Just like instant noodles... easy and good.
