Mostly done to save weight, just like the KAC PDW. Every ounce count when you haul those things all day long.

An AUG A3 would be awesome. I heard a while back that G&G was making one? Guess it got scrapped? And if not an AUG A3, then an AUG A2 with a picatinny rail that is shorter height wise to the rest of the gun.

Attach a phantom kit to it... drooool

I want a working Stoner 63. I would pay good money for that. Or a KAC PDW like Deadpool.

I would like to see this made into airsoft, apperantly some people have turned the real steel into an airsoft version, but I cant confirm.
If you're still interested, KWA announced at the Jan 2011 SHOT SHOW they will be making a look alike version (GBB), called the "TKV-33"

You're right..bad ass gun!
Perhaps a 240 gearbox or an M14 (ver.7 mechbox) could fit in the top of the buttstock? They are pretty narrow gearboxes...

JG makes one.
Or just get a rail system and make one yourself, it's not that hard.

Well with G&G C02 Kar98k, we can hope they continue on a WW2 line.

EDIT : While I'm at it. I want a good M1 Garand, GBBR or not, but AT LEAST, TOP-FED.

Yeah the JG is meh, they took an A2 and added a chunk of metal on the end, doesn't look as nice in my eyes, and it's JG; I would prefer a manufacturer like classic army to make one so the plastic would be less shiny and maybe have the steyr logo on it like the AUGs they have out now. Since the AUG isn't that popular I doubt it will happen, would be pretty sweet though.
