Gas capability
Me and my Dad are propably get this gun for Christmas. But we have a quick question for you guys. How far would a 16.4 oz propane tank go with one of these. I'd rather the amount to be in shots but we would love an answer. oh and nice reviews guys.

A lot. 20 + mags easily. Propane is cheap anyway.

Hey guys, any idea why i'm only getting about 7-8 shots at enough power to lock the slide back? after that it just barely cycles.
The mags no leaking, and i've used a new propane canister, and filled it for more the long enough. Ultra light oil helped. Does it just have to be broken in? i'm still under 500 shots. |

After you fill your magazines, give them a couple minutes to warm up as well so that the gas may expand. I find a hair dryer works wonders.

Hm. I'll try that after work.
Guess a lighter would be a bad idea to heat it up |

Its not really a cool-down issue. That was what I originally thought as well.
I found out that I'm missing the (microscopic) small spring that goes in one of the two metal parts that come up when you squeeze the trigger. Any idea what this spring does? It's the smaller of the two peices. It seems like everything is still working fine, so it can't be too important... either way I ordered a replacment spring set. EDIT: I just realized how awful that description is. |

Okay, I got mine all fixed up... And then dropped the damn mag, and cracked the feed neck.
I've looked around, but short answer, best mag? I can get two bell/ meister mags for close to one TM. How are the Bell/meister mags? |

True that. I have no clue what you were trying to describe.

TM mags are by far better than any clone magazine out there... and if you import your own from overseas, they will only cost you a few bucks more than clone mags at the same store (depending on how much shit you want to pile into your order though, in order to make the most of your shipping costs). |
