I guess u need a magpul angled fore grip to manage that "recoil" now.. Ok but I know I asked something similar before but I need some advice... From a new player point of view which version of the PDW do you all think is best and easier to maintain and work with? I don't want to make the wrong choice and having to convert the system later. Thanks... |

Recoil on all the WE gbbrs except for the Scar which is more is about equal to a .22 round.

why you think they hustled the G36C and the M14? they can't capture market share if they don't have products in the market

The stock wont lock in; but the tension keeps it in place when you lock down the bolts. it will have even more friction if you add like a rubber o rings into the hinge

About that yeah, a bit more with c02 than propane. And out of all of them the SCAR has the most recoil because of the massive peice of metal thats the bolt hitting the back of the gun.

There are a *couple* wholesalers who have WE M4's here in the USA now. You just gotta know who to ask for them I guess. I actually have one at the shop, the standard M4-A1 model. Not sure what I'm doing with it though.
That said, I thought that PDW with CTR stock WAS an M4 at first glance. I was like what the hell then I blinked and re-focused my eyes and realized it was a PDW lol! I think you should put the PDW stock back on it. Other then that, it looks good! Thanks for the info on the mag kits btw. I thought I saw something like that but I wasn't sure if it was to convert the old AWSS style mags to open-bolt or not. I can comment on one thing about the mags though. The M4 mags, while they don't LOOK right, sure as hell work better then the Knights PDW 6x35mm style mags. The PDW mags seem to freeze up and run out of gas faster then the M4 style mags. I was going to buy all KAC PDW mags but I think I'll just keep my one KAC PDW mag for "looks" and photos I take, but use all M4 mags when I'm playing. And now I have yet another question... RA-Tech NPAS kits. How hard are they on the lower of these guns? I'm worried redirecting the gas might cause issues. I was going to buy the TSC CNC lower but I found a full trade marked WE lower for $52 dollars shipped so I just ordered that. I was really only after the trademarks anyway. Also, this pistol grip SUCKS. I can't believe WE messed up so bad on the design. Number 1, it looks NOTHING like the KAC grip on the current PDW's and number 2, its uncomfortable as all hell. I see TSC also makes a grip that is included with there lower body, does anyone make one sold on it's own? And yes, I know a real AR-15 grip will fit but I want something stubby short. I really want to make my PDW look like THIS: I've changed out the rear sight to match that, I've got the Comp2 with the L-mount, all I need is the trademarked lower and the right grip! On a side note, are there any dealers up there in Canada that have the factory WE KAC PDW flash hiders? I can't get this gay orange paint off mine for the life of me and NONE of the dealers or wholesalers down here have them.

you might have to ask karnage at velocity arms. I know there's a topic on WE rifle parts ordering floating around in the retailer section

I can say that the 416, M14 and PDW certainly kick harder than a .22LR |

Being a frequent .22 plinker, and an owner of a brand new WE M14. I can very much so agree with amos, This thing kicks like a mule.
