that FPS is only Shadowrun in name, I have been playing Shadowrun since 1ed and I still own my copies of all 4 editions and other then Cyberpunk, it is one of my favorite RPGS to play, with the world of darkness games mixed in there to round it out to three.

just take a moment to read the Wiki on shadowrun
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadowrun

to get an idea of what shadowrun is about.

the closest I've managed to do is a slowly evolving Zombie "series" where all the participants are very badly equipped civilians caught off guard .
There was a Really good Zombie RPG out back in 2004 i think, i don't remember what it was called though, your 3 choice's were Norm, Survivor and enlightened. If any one remembers the name please post it

you are one of the few people who's nickname is actually very descriptive.

We've talked of running a shadow run game at TTAC3 .. and resolve the gunfights with AS

so a typical tabletop game... but once we get to combat.. we walk in to the big room and sort it out realtime. from what I remember about shadowrun's combat system.. it would speed up the game substantially.

I'm talking about something completly different for me I dont know that shadow niether the op hotbox and I dont really care (but not saying its bad just dont really want to know them just that) cause it seems like they are a system I dont really want to play with the system I would like to mount is more of a HP and where you get it too and stuff like that with various possiblity regarding weapon system and weapon that can be use and by who with which class they have and they would have more LARP style system in that game

Airsoft guns are tools,

You're free to make your own rule sets and run whatever you want, just make sure it's very well understood before the game and make sure you wear proper eye protection.

thanks I'll take that as a compliment.
I have been roleplaying and I play and own a number of games from the world of darkness series of game both old and new and for a number of years I played in a long running larp Called Waterloo by Night.

I also play video game quite a bit, hell I own a copy of both of the Army of Two games and I own the fallout 3 limited edition with lunch box and Vault boy Bobble head. I read comic books, so in short, I am a geek and damn proud of it as well.

But just to bring the discussion back to airsoft, I can see how roleplaying and AS can fit together, the only problem is that, unlike tabletop or RPS larps every thing is stat related and how good you are in some thing is dictated by your persona's stats. in airsoft you are only as good at some thing as you your self are skilled at in that area.

But that's not to say that that can not changed with a little practice.
