well there is and there isn't the motor+cage sticking out of the bottom of a AK reciver isnt THAT big and there are not technical measurements (that i can find) of how big that stock is on the vepr2. so some slight exageration and modification wouldnt be a bad thing...

shit this thread really took off. well ive decided im going to try to make a saiga 12 instead of an oc14. kinda off topic here but after considering all the small details im giving up on the groza idea, its just too complicated for me. that being said im going to try to create a custom hop up/ barrel system to allow for multiple shot automatic fire with an aeg gearbox for the saiga. ill let everyone know how it works out, so far i have a couple somewhat feasible ideas for the hop up. sticking with a standard ak mag but the bbs stack in a multiple chamber hop up. just gotta figure out how to up the power (spring?) because i will inevitably lose some when splitting the compressed air between multiple barrels

lol actually had an idea about how to make that a while back, take apart a crossman stinger shotgun (tri barrel) and take a look how it loads/shoots etc..

Slam the parts from a tri-shot and an AEG together, With enough modification you might be able to get the nozzle fabricated to function in an AEG but it will be fairly extensive and tedious, I've looked at it my self a few years ago, It seemed feasible but you'd need a terribly powerful spring and a terribly powerful motor and battery to pull it all.

In a perfect system a spring shooting one projectile at 600 fps is only going to push 3 at 200, So you see the dilemma. I know that's terrible thinking but the point still stands. If you do approach it than you will need to mod a mechbox shell as well, I might recommend practicing on a shitty clear one for proof of concept.

I did the same with a TM M3, The idea seems possible in AEG form but I guess finding the spring and the gears would be the hardest part. You'd need unobtanium gears and piston. (for a reasonable FPS)

ya checking out the crossman stinger was my idea too just to see how they managed the hop up. im guessing when you pump theres some sort of level that takes them from the shell into the chamber but only fires them in a straight line. i still might end up going to a gas operated system, as mitchell12 said id need a pretty powerful gearbox. ugh some company should just make a realistic one so i dont have to go through all this :P

The Shells from the Tri-Shots work the exact same as mags for an AEG essentially.
