Ghilli Suit, Stalker, Tracker or Poncho

Ok i now understand why i should make one of my own, i can personaly chose the collors my self.
If i would buy a premade Ghillie the risk of getting the wrong collor's is bigger.

I also read that the time that i have to invest in an tracker suit is about 5 hours, is there any one that confirm that time table???
And the price is a lot nicer

If you are doing the shirt and pants, it's about 60h. Only the shirt I would say about 45h. But that is all depending on YOU. What do YOU want to do and how fast you are doing it. I had to re-enfore by shirt at the elbow erea, remove all buttons, install velcros at some places, cut holes and stich them for ventilation. Just the shirt preparation prior to sewing the net and adding the jute is about 5h. If you don't have the jute strand ready, you have to cut it, pull all the trands by hand, die them, wash them somewhat (the messy part) and tie them to the net. That is the biggest part of the suit preparation.

If you make it yourself, you are sure it will fit your needs. And if you don't like the end result, you know exacly what to do to correct it.

I deciede so far that i only need an thorso, but i stil have my doubts of taking a stalker or tracker.
45 hours, well some one here planted a seed on me
I just have get the job done, wel vacation is comming up in a few weeks so that kit wil keep mee bussy.

Cordura patch before it was painted camo. After the pic, the burlap on the sides were also made longer to cover that area.

I did the dying of the burlap in my fathers restaraunt, boiled it all and rinsed it all in with in an hour, 4 pots boiling and two large pre-sock sinks for rinsing. did you glue your netting to your suit??? I did with some shoe glue, hasnt failed yet.

I dunno, personaly, I'd rather buy the pre-dyed jute....You can buy like 5 pounds of it in several different colors for like 40 bucks US. I dunno about you but it's not even worth my time to cut, dye and rinse the jute when I can just buy it. With the hours involved with that, hell...I can't do it for that cheap. Essentialy you're still doing most of the work yourself anyway. I mean, if you want the satisfaction of doing it all yourself thats one thing but well..... fuck that

keeping in mind most people spend a shitload of time sitting on their ass(TV or ASC).
My friend made an awsome ghillie while he watched TV. when watching, just slowly work away on it....In no time he had a sweet ghillie.

I still mean you make the ghillie yourself, but just buy the colored jute as opposed to pulling it apart/dying it yourself. Personaly Im not really setup at home to do any amount of dying anyway, too damn messy. But as for tying all the little strands on to the suit, hell yeah, you should definately be doing that on your own.

60hours ... that's pushing it mate.

This is the one i'm currently using. 20hours to make it. I did mine while watching TV or listening to music. Goes by really fast. Sold 2 exactly like it. charged 400$ for each.
