I have another question about German kit, what do you wear as an under shirt. I have worn a grey cotton half button up shirt, but it never seems right to me.
Also is an A-frame like regular or common? I was only wearing a bread bag, y strap, magazine pouches and gators.

A frame for short duration sustainment, 24 to 36 hours, enough space to strap on your greatcoat or blanket, , some food, extra socks, .. Actually about perfect for Airsoft games. I have used mine a few times... Once you figure out how to quickly get it on and off it is a handy piece of kit A frame was an issue item.

Looks like it eh? Pink shoulder boards but no insignia. It looked a bit weird to me at first but then I noticed that it might be that the top button is done up instead of being open.
Have you hooked up your ammo pouches to the A-frame straps instead of the ammo pouch straps? The hooks don't seem to be in use and are sitting mighty high. Good stuff though! Aaah, love seeing folks impressions

Actually its an assault wrap from hikishop, I was kinda aiming for a panzergrenadier look. It was also made from hbt material so a little easier to wear.
@ T. smith I don't really know, I have them hooked up that way so that they don't pop off when I jump into the dirt.

If you adjust those hooks, they probably won't come undone. And if they're open a little too much too (often the case) a good pair of pliers and a hefty squeeze will right that. I always dug the panzer wrap. I once had an SS one, but sadly, no panzer to go with it (sniff).
