I did a lot of research on Eotechs as I am looking for one and I came to the conclusion that the ones made before Nov 2016 are defective and will not perform as advertised. The ones dated post Nov 2016 are good to go from what I have seen.

It is past the date now but I'm sure if you emailed Eotech they could have done something.
