SR-25 Upgrading barrel length
Hey docs,
Just got myself a G&P SR-25 (magpul version from ehobby. Very nice ), and I was wondering what my options would be to get my inner barrel length up to 650mm. I see that the G&P silencer is pretty much out of stock. Not sure what to do, as it seems a standard M4/16 silencer won't fit on the stock outer barrel that comes with the gun. Any and all advice appreciated Thanks docs Edit: Just noticed I posted in the wrong forum, please move me. Thanks! Last edited by Noctis; August 2nd, 2012 at 15:43.. Reason: Wrong section |

Why do you want to have a 650mm inner barrel?

Precision. What else? The stock barrel is that of an M16, I'm looking for better grouping.

You do know that a 650mm is actually LESS accurate than a one of a shorter length, all other things being equal.
A "standard" suppressor won't fit on that particular gun because there are no threads on the outer barrel. I would suggest swapping out the outer barrel for a CCW-threaded outer barrel to expand your barrel attachment choices. I'm actually not too sure what you're asking about now. Are you trying to extend your outer barrel length or inner barrel length? Last edited by Stealth; August 2nd, 2012 at 16:13.. |

I have a g&p SR25 magpul. This silencer fits perfectly. The QD locks nice and tight with zero wobble.
