Stock tube screw threading
Long story short: I have a MOSFET in my buffer tube, so I can't use the original screw. I'm thinking of making a hole in the buffer cap to use it to tighten down the buffer, however to do so I need a longer screw.
To make my hunt for one easier... Does anyone know the threading on buffer tube screws? (those that screw on the rear of the gearbox) Thanks!

To be more precise, it would be the spring guide threading as this is where it screws in.

if you have the screw, they can tell you the threading if you go to the autoparts counter at canadian tire. Just take it in and ask them to measure the threads for you.

IF I remember correctly, it's M6x1 threadings... let me see if I can find a screw and check it (I do have a metric guage).
*edit* M5x0.5mm (regular M5 screw). You probably find some at fastenall or Canadian Tire.
