CA UMP folding stock compatibility
hey guys,
i bought a classic army UMP and while i was folding the stock for storage, the plastic on the hinges gave way and it literally tore off. so now i'm looking for a replacement stock and i was wondering if this UMP style stock made by ECHO1 would work with my CA: http://albertaairsoft.com/webstore/g...ing-stock.html thanks.

No, it wont fit. Its a UMP STYLE stock for a MP5. Different dimensions. You will probably have to get one from Ca, or G&G, onee that is actually made for a UMP

i ended up ordering the stock and it does work. i was able to install it onto the hinges of my CA UMP. however, the dimensions are a little off and once the stock is on, it will not lock into place once its folded. not a big problem for me as i rarely ever use the gun in the folded position.
once attached, the stock is just as rock solid as the original one and looks just as good. i may even say the plastic on the hinges of this clone stock is stronger than that of the original CA one. its a hard plastic that seems way tougher. i've known of 3 different cases where the stock snapped on these classic army UMPs. so, i hope this helps anyone who has the same problem i did.
