It's 15.5 lbs with everything on her. Somewhat heavy for an AEG but when you consider that the gun is balance at the foreward handguard, it's gets real tiring shouldering the gun in a high or low position.

I have an Eagle 3-point sling that I'm using with the EBR. After yesterday's game, I'm going to try my Specter Gear 3 point M-249 sling on her. With the shoulder pad on the sling, it will be more comfortable to carry the EBR through the entire day.

The sling points on the EBR are located on the aluminum stock which is stiff enough for me to not worry about stressing out the barrel. Just foreward of the handguard is a block that secures the barrel to the stock. The receiver is locked down in the normal manner with the trigger guard assembly in the down position. The barrel and receiver do not come in contact with the sling. It is very safe to sling the EBR without damaging the barrel.
