dye job . first rit dye is geared to natural fibers, ie cotton and wool. nylon and other synthetics wont hold the color. if i recall rit doesn't make an olive drab so mixing would be required, you would need sample swatches of the same fabric and base color to test on as od mixing will be a very dark rit color to make. keep in mind that you can just dip a patterned fabric as the dye will change all not just the light shades. if i can help with any info from past experiences let me know
