That was a very bad move on your behalf. Sort of like cutting off your foot for money, but not getting the money first and then letting the person with the money run away.

Well the lever should not be locked back, I meant was there any indication of sound as if something internally was locking into place. A click or something.
When you draw back the lever you should feel a slight bit of spring tension and then hear a click before the lever would return itself to its resting position.

However if this is not the case, and the trigger does nothing. Unfortunelty I cannot recommend anything. Its almost not worth taking apart to attempt to repair. Since the broken or missaligned part or parts may not be replaceable or repairable anyways.

I suppose you could always hang it on your wall.
