Now that I'm no longer the primary tech at any shop, I'm glad to be able to turn those jobs down. Though, one thing I find more annoying than the bag of parts is when I agree to work on a gun, but the guy does not mention that it was completely butchered by another "tech" and I have to play bad guy and report on the horrible work.
I'm glad this thread turned out to be useful. It really only skims the surface of the topics, if I wanted a full write up, the section on gears and motors alone would be this long.
