Many times, and not once has it failed a chrono for being too hot. It's been a while since I chrono'd with a fresh CO2 cartridge, but if I recall it was above 300, but well below 400. I think about 320FPS, if I recall correctly back in Nightfall 2. Later on, when the cartridge was less full, it was shooting about 250FPS, and still had good range. In other words, if it's somehow shooting too hot, which I highly doubt, carefully release some gas and you should be fine.
