Yes. There is a court case scheduled for this fall in BC for the largest of all airsoft importers.
It's a long story, but suffice it to say small fish importing 1 or 2 guns will just have to deal with seizure and/or fine. Big fish importing hundreds of gun have to deal with prison time and/or fines as well as seizure.
