If you aren't willing to spent the coin on a real Aimpoint you can always go for a
Vortex Strikefire red dot only. It has the same look as an aimpoint m2/m3 and will take the recoil no problem.
Edit: Changed link to the red dot only listed on Millbrook, apparently it doesn't have the brightness problem like the red/green like kullwarrior mentioned. Props for pointing that out.
