yes and no.

There is a noticeable pop of air at the muzzle from all airsoft guns

If the suppressor is fill with foam and the inner barrel ends before the tip of the can where the bb will pass through the gap in the foam, the pop will be suppressed.

It's the same idea in which those loudeners work, but opposite to in effect.

The problem with airsoft guns is that some of them are so badly built or shimmed that you can hear the gearbox and can react to that vs the muzzle pop.

Well built guns have less gearbox noise and can be a bit more stealthy, so adding the suppressor can provide some advantage. Properly matched air ratios from cylinder to inner barrel also reduce barrel pop. The more overvolumed the setup is, the louder the pop.

If the suppressor has no foam, the opposite effect will be achieved and the sound amplified. If the inner barrel extends all the way to the exit hole of the can, you get the regular barrel pop.
