Speed loaders and pistols - how NOT to lose the adapter?

Hello everyone,

I have in my possession one of those ubiquitous smoke colored speed pistol-mag-shaped loaders; when I attach the included pistol magazine adaptor it loads my (KWA KP8 USP Compact) mags quite well.

However, the adapter itself is easily misplaced, as well as being quite fragile and flimsy.

I believe the perfect pistol loader that could be brought into the field would

A - Have the adaptor permanently affixed and
B - Not be made of cheap thin flimsy plastic

So, some questions for those in the know:

1 - Does anyone make a speed loader that has the pistol adapter permanently affixed? If so, in aluminum or super-tough plastic?
2 - If not, how do you all manage that little adapter while out in the field so as to make sure it does not go missing AND can be used quickly? Or is the solution simply carry more loaded mags.

Gorilla Glue or JB Weld had occurred to me as a way to attach the adaptor permanently, but it remains that the adaptor is flimsy and would easily be snapped off.

My searches online are ongoing, but so far no product addresses all the above points I wish to overcome.

Thanks!
