Just a quick correction on the terminology used. There are a lot of acronyms utilized in the realm of security, military, law enforcement, and intelligence matters. Terms are also adapted across the military and civilian (ie: private sector) world.
PSD is originally a military term which stands for: Protective Services Detail. It is a US Army term and can be found in various U.S. Army Field Manuals and training materials. It would not be correct to suggest a
'military force' is providing
'private security' because they do not operate as part of the private sector.
PSD can also mean: Protective Security Detail, Personal Security Detachment, Personal Security Detail, and usage depends on who is being protected, who is providing the protection, and/or the security environment itself.
BTW, Meindl boots rock.
Hope this helps.
