Gmd, like the others have stated, what is your preference as to which rifle you want. All have their advantages and disadvantages. As what Surebet stated, if you want to go serious on sniping...prepare to drop at least a $1000 just for the rifle alone.
I've owend only two sniper rifles as playing sniper for my team. I used to own a Sun Projects M40A1 which was a bolt action, air cocking. It shot 470fps using .25 bb's and witha PDI 250% spring installed. It was very accurate and depedable in any weather. I now own a Tanaka M700 AICS with the Power Control System (PCS) which is a bolt action, gas powered. With the PCS fully open using green gas, it's firing 560 fps; with propane, it's firing over 600fps. It's very accurate but being a gas gun, it has issues when the outside temperature is too cold.
My recommendation is search for reviews of sniper rifles and compare them with each another. Look at their pro's and con's and go from there. Some players have used AEG's and converted them into semi-auto rifles for sniping and counter sniping. The armalite series is an excellent gun to modify into a sniper based gun. The AK can be conveted into the famous Dragonov.
Get yourself Aged Verified and search the "For Sale" sections. Many players do sell their sniper rifles when they want a change from their present playing format or to upgrade to a new rifle.
Hope this helps and welcome to ASC. You will find lots of helpfull info on this site. If stuck, just post your question and we'll try to help you as best as we can.
