Its' got to be way in there. Push out the brass bushing in the trigger and the spring will be free. You may be able to bend it back in place. You want a sharp 90 bend where the stub meets the coiled part.

Be really gentle when it goes back in and hold the trigger forward & up so it can't pop out or bend. Have the pin halfway in the body so when the trigger is in the right spot you can nail it down.
