That is a common problem on really any piston with a full metal rack. The only way that you can prevent this is to epoxy the rack onto the piston body itself. At the pick up tooth the plastic there...

Prob not. Just stop using more expensive motors when a acm hi speed or hi torque can yield you better results. Don't use systema gears either, they are soft.
