Surplus Shop in Broadway, Vancouver
 

Hey guys,

I remember seeing a surplus shop near the Broadway Skytrain stop. Does anyone know about the name? I asked my bro about going there and he threatened me that he won't go there with me unless they have AEGs, which I doubt, I guess.

That place is Ghetto, if you're going to drag your bro to a surplus store in the Vancouver area, drag his ass to Dave's in New Westminster. It's well worth the trip, and you get to poke Martin and Nix (he's the one looks like Bobby Hill)

the place on brodway sucks i cant remember the name. that place is like westlys in newwest. alot of junk. however if you like picking through tons of gear to find or 2 usable itims then it may be worth it.

Dave's has AEGs, I was visiting the folks in BC and took a look there because of its rep. Quite a nice place.

Gorilla Surplus I think, an yea it sucks an is overpriced, no real amount of BDU, LBE, etc. IIRC its more for fashion, etc for the kids who wanna look thug or some shit an the goths, punk wannabes or some shit like it.

Gorrilla is nice because they have Flecktarn. I just went in with a buddy and got him and shirt, pants and some combats and it wasn't too pricey and the guys were nice. I will say though it wasn't the nicest looking store and definitely a lot of stuff to look through in order to find thing. Still, I wouldn't avoid it per-say, and it's definitely worth checking out. Although I do still need to get out to Dave's one day.

Uhhhh, New Westminster is plenty close to Coquitlam. Also, New Westminster might be crime prone, but it's not all that worse than Coquitlam.

Anywho, if he's taking transit, just tell him to get on the 112 that boards in front of salvation army and it stops directly across the street from daves.

You'll be impressed with Dave's if you like Gorilla's.

Coquitlam has the smallest police force per capita in BC. Hence, it's pretty crime ridden but not that petty stuff. Pretty much, no one messes around in Coquitlam because it's high level of Angel presence. But grow ops are the norm.

I went because I knew 100% for sure that Gorilla's had Flecktarn and I needed to pick some up for one of my team-mates. I do a lot of my purchasing online so I haven't had much need to go to Dave's yet. I'm sure one day I'll make the trip out and have a look. I've driven by it multiple times at work.

I used to live 30 seconds of walking from Gorilla and guess what, went with my bro to the playground every day without seeing anyone being robbed/stabbed/shot/etc.

I suggest you stop being such a wuss and just go there.

I live 2 blocks away from the Gorilla Surplus and nothing really bad ever happens. I think there is a better chance of getting robbed/stabbed/shot in coquitlam from all those wanna be suburban gangsters there. anyone agree with me?
