Tippmann Questions

Got myn last Friday. Gun is amazing. Well built and super light. Absolutely the perfect length. But.......

What the heck is the twang after each shot in the buffer tube that vibrates it? There is obviously a spring of somekind? Is it suppose to be twanging inside the buffer tube after each shot?

It kind of takes the realism away of the kick of each shot. Not sure if its supposed to be doing this or not??

Anyone else experiencing this?

umm..the tippmann M4 is a paintball marker made into a airsoft gun..
I had a Milsig mag paintball marker before, and it also make the same sound. So I would assume that is normal.

All of Tippman's mechanical guns have that token twang. I quite hate it too.

FYI, real ARs also have noticeable spring noise. Just part of having a buffer tube in contact with your jaw.

Ok thanks guys for clarifying what the twang was :)

Cheers

The twang can lessened and almost entirely eliminated with a buffer tube spacer, available from Tippmann.

Every single Tipman does the same noise, is the spring inside the buffer tube, to avoid the "twaannng" a lot of people recommend to grease it up or wrap it with something.
