Classic Army + certain RIS compatability

I want to buy the Allwin DD Mk18 RASII (http://airsoftdepot.ca/catalog/produ...roducts_id=308) for my CA M15A4 CQBR, but i've heard rumours that the CA's upper receiver top rail is a little bit higher than other AEG's... Has anyone tried to install this RIS (or one similar) and encountered any issues? I'd rather know if this rumour is truth and save my money/time.

y not just get a CA RAS. There would be a 100% probability that it fits and it would be cheaper than the Allwin.

I had issues trying to use an Echo 1 RIS with a CA AEG. The delta ring needed to be changed out to lock it in place. Ended up finding a CA RIS with the delta ring and a locking lug (for the lack of a better term) that locks the top of the RIS to the delta ring used for a good price and now no problems.

This is only an issue with older generation CA Armalite's. If what you have is one of the newer X-Series you should be fine as the dimensions on the upper receiver's top rail have been changed to match that of most other manufacturers.
