Kwa m4a1

Hey i just bought a used kwa m4 and i need to replace the mechbox housing becouse the one in the gun is cracked. Can i get someones oppinion as to what mechbox to replace the one in it. I have a couple picked out but dont know what one to choose from becouse im a bit tight with my money right now. I know i should probly just go with the kwa mechbox but its a bit more expensive.

I think its really a personal opinion on cost factor. I own 2 KWA's myself and if anything happens to the mechbox shell I will prolly replace it with a KWA shell. But if money is tight, 90 bucks on a mechbox shell + shipping, thats a lot of coin to toss on a shell if you can get a similar one for 30. But I would research the snot out of the shell if its not KWA to make sure it fits, and will last (at least long enough for my $30 worth). Its really up to you.

Ok thanks that helps out alot. Ill probly just spend the money on the kwa mechbox becouse most of the time you get what you pay for and i only need it up and runing by the time the snows gone.

Also, be advised that a KWA lower receiver has a type of "mounting" at the lower back in which the mech box locks into place. If you attempt to install any other brand of mech box, you will have to dremel the crap out of the box (lower back) in order to get proper fitment.
So going with a KWA box (for a KWA AEG) is always a good idea.
