Ptw Gun Doc needed
 

Hey Guys, open to Gun docs or shops that can do the work.

Hoping to find someone between Ottawa and Kingston but will ship if needed.

Need battery connectors changed, would love if someone could order and install a mosfet for it, so I can run lipos instead.

Hop up needs to be reworked.

General tune up needed, motor are gears were aces last time I had it out.

It already has a mosfet, you can run 11.1v lipo on it stock
Use the turnigy nanotech 15-25C batteries

clean and regrease your cylinders, blow the dust out of the motors end bell, shouldn't have to touch the gearbox ever.

You haven't seen Jonas's or Rob's gearboxes. They were awful. Think twigs, grass, sand, and lots of mineral deposits from water.

I think he has a Gen 3 gun with the older parallel FET system. Not the most stable with a constant voltage battery and newer motor type.

Mine a 2007 board if that helps.... still need the hop up done it is aweful.... damn you Az!!!

Yes motor and Gear box are all good.

Lol I believe the whole thing is original 07 with Tack motor mods. I can try to posts some pics tonight. All my original Systema batteries are toast what should I run it off?

If you want an electronics change, you need to change both boards. Pretty pricey if you want OEM. Clones are garbage, especially ECU, and the FET boards to a lesser extent.

I just did an upgrade to an older gun to ambi with the Value Kit 3. It came with ambi gearbox, Kumi motor and full electronics set. Was about $680 landed, the owner sold the motor, 2011 electronics and gearbox to get the latest items. Net for him was about $300 for parts after sale.

I have Fet boards, no ecu boards. If you get one, I can do it for you.

I’m less worried about the Fet but I need the hop done, gonna be pricey no matter what shipping it down there and back I’m up in Ontario now lol. But hell I’d rather be able to run my ptw than buy a crap AEG for 500-800$ any day.

I wonder maybe if a Li-ion battery might be a better choice for you than Lipo. Nicad is no longer possible. But, the Li-ion is a nunchuck battery, won't fit in the buffer tube at 11.1v and 7.4v is not usable. So, if you keep it the crane stock, it is doable. Maybe pm me and I can source battery to fit, refit the gun in Deans, hopup mod and clean/regrease gearbox and cylinders.
