Importation of Pyrotechnics

Hello everyone.

After talking to some friends back in Eastern Europe, I came across a few very epic products from a Russian manufacturer - TAG Innovations. They make very appealing pyrotechnic grenades for airsoft and paintball. :p

(Check it out for yourself: http://airsoftpyrotechnics.com/airso...hnics-products)

Now I am wondering: what is the CBSA's take on importation of pyrotechnic devices?
I am guessing that most likely they are not allowed, but I would be more than happy to be wrong on this topic.

LOVE their products, I got to see some down the states. I love the blue marker shells and their yellow pyrotechnic ones, though, I'd imagine they'd present a safety risk based on the fact they explode :P

These are under license with ICS, there is another post on here about them already. Last I heard they are still not approved for import.

I checked the previous post, and then also checked Mach1. They seems only to have the marking projectiles, but not hand grenades and exploding projectiles... Sucks if they are not approved yet... :(

I bought 6 of the marking rounds from Mach1 recently and i love them, i took them to Risky Sun IV but didnt get an opportunity to use these bad boys. I did kill a bus on the last day for fun with one just to say i shot it. Id be really excited to use the pyro frag ones but i think people would whine to much about them.

j_march, did you have a chance at getting the exploding ones (direct - white, and bb spread - yellow)? I only saw the markers on Mach1, but they are not as "effective" and atmospheric as the other two. I have a friend who is able to send them over to me, but as far as I've heard, they are banned for import... :(

You are correct, they are banned for import. You can expect a letter and a visit from CBSA/RCMP if you try and bring those in.

J-man19 is correct. and i only have the marking rounds but they are still awesome

If you search other releated topic some guy's have ordered the exploding round without problems...

j_march August 12th, 2014 09:47
