I think CBSA held my package, but I never received any notice?

So, I am not an airsoft hobbyist, but I was looking for a replica of Robocop's weapon just to live on my shelf, and there happens to be an airsoft gun modeled after it.

So six months ago I ordered one off ebay, coming from Japan. I didn't think anything of it, since I know the same product is sold in Canada, but now I know that this was obviously a mistake.

I've since read about all the complex issues surrounding airsoft import and realize that my package was probably stopped by customs (and the tracking supports this). However, I never received a letter from CBSA, and it has been six months.

I've pretty much accepted that the item is lost to me, I just want to resolve the matter so that it's not hanging over my head. If I contact CBSA, will they be able to give me any information considering I never received any communication from them about the matter?

Any suggestions?

Can you explain what kind of weapon it was? Do you have the specification? Yes it can be help by CBSA. It happened to me in 2006 for a Tokyo Marui Famas and yes they kept the AEG...

But to be a replica, the weapon needs to be real, means that if that does not exist in real, you can argument with CBSA. Also, if the Weapon was not shooting, you can also argument that it cannot be use.

I suggest that you read carefully first https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publicat...-13-2-eng.html

And than contact CBSA with your tracking number.

Good luck!
