Mags that feed in Echo1 Troy MRF-C
 

Hey Y'all.

My little brother is getting into airsoft as he is now 18. He has had a Troy MRF-C for several years as a backyard plinker, but it was upgraded for game use by Pestobanana, and he needs mags.

Problem is this: I have tried PTS EPMs, Magpul PTS PMAGs, Huang Airsoft Depot (possibly MAG brand or King Arms???) metal M4 low and midcaps and thus far have had no luck. Anyone have an Echo 1 M4, preferably in the Troy lineup, that can attest to mags that feed well? The only mag that works well is the stock tactical maraca the gun came with and while it feeds with that just fine, my brother wants something less dorky than the silly high cap mag.

FYI, the hop-up is the stock hop-up unit as it is a proprietary unit with an upgraded rubber that feeds fine otherwise. Seems to be a feed-lip and release height issue with other brand mags, but I can't be sure.

I can't be certain but I have some G&P midcaps for sale if you want to grab one just to test and see if it feeds you are more then welcome to swing by.
