Im surprised they didn't make a Kar98k. A spring one would be a nice change from the Tanaka gas powered one.

Ares PPSH are OK, lousy range. But that means some extra work needed on the internals.
If quality of internals is as poor as on some of their modern stuff (M-60-plagued with problems) their whole effort could be questionable.
