Koopa July 18th, 2006 10:26

Would the Polish joke in Poland just be called "The Joke"? (its a TKF thing)

Witame was dlo ASC

Giersu November 16th, 2006 13:07

Koopa, I'm affraid that your nick would be a joke itself here in Poland lol

You pronounce it Koopa, you write it Kupa, but still it's Polish for Poo :o)

Yes, I tagged him that. He used to simply go under his last name abbreviated. I couldn't resist!

The better story is when I brought my half english hlf Polish speaking Toddler to the SnowDragon Poker Night. I was introducing my son to the team. Eddie, Kwaidan, Sandrock, Princess,... he just nods, then Koopa comes outta the Kitchen... Koopa... my kid stops nodding... kupa? I still don't think he beleives me. But thats the only name he remebered from the night... and repeated to my wife later. Yes, Tata plays with Kupa.
Cheers

Welcome, dgien dobri :)

My polish is so good :D hmmmm polski ogorki....

Its great to see that airsoft is becoming more popular in Central Europe.
I am originally from Hungary and as I hear airsoft is just getting there too, not as advanced as Poland I think.

Giersu November 18th, 2006 16:50

Szervusz!

Well, I know there IS something going on in Hungarian airsoft, I even managed to meet some of them on a bigger event in Poland once.
Oh, there you go: HUNGARIAN AIRSOFT

Krieg November 18th, 2006 19:00

Excellent Sir!

Thanks a lot!

Giersu November 22nd, 2006 19:25

My pleasure :o)

Manaconda November 22nd, 2006 20:09

It's not so much that our team is interested in the polish forces but more that a few of our teams founders are Polish. So we are TKF! Wish I new how to say it in Polish though.

Any way welcome to ASC love to see some pics of the games you have there.

Cheers mate!

Giersu November 23rd, 2006 06:24

Manaconda, don't bother with learning Polish unless you're really REALLY into it. It's such a damn tricky language that even most of Poles are using it wrong :o)

If you click HERE, you can find my lot's photogallery. Not many in-combat piccies there, but maybe you'll find something interesting.

And finally - if you're into Polish forces and need a help with buying stuff - I think I could help :o)

a ja mam takie pytanie...
dlaczego ten temat o polskim airsofcie jest w dziale "Other Regions"?
i dlaczego "Eastern Bloc" jest wjebany do "Russia AND Western Bloc" ?
przeciez to dwie zupelnie inne rzeczy

GROM August 15th, 2011 16:49

Hey guys I'm looking for GROM arm patches, if you come across any please contact me. Preferably the red on black style just like my logo....

manchovie August 15th, 2011 17:03

heh i've got some but they're not for sale. try ebay.

GROM August 15th, 2011 17:20

E-bay is dry man, these are hard to come by.....I might have to settle for the green and black version.

Polish_Legion September 10th, 2011 00:31

Agreed! When you tell someone who is looking to buy Polish military gear to try ebay what your really trying to tell them is to piss off.

Here you go GROM:

http://allegro.pl/grom-jednostka-spe...794019274.html

I'm sure you could ask someone back in Poland in your family who has an Allgero account (almost everyone in Poland already does) to buy this for you ;)

For some reason I like the desert more... the plate carrier is pretty cool ebay? or some other site?

Schlyder September 10th, 2011 05:50

Yes I like the desert pantera. I wear the pants all the time just for casual wear.
The desert carrier is from eBay. And the woodland carrier I got from Gish(ASC member)

I would love to pick up a pair of pants and a t-shirt in that camo, where did you get yours from?

Schlyder September 10th, 2011 16:18

I got that field shirt from eBay. I think the seller was OldCap 2000. Tshirts I don't know where to get at all.
The Helikon stuff is being used by Polish troops, I was told by someone here on ASC. They had personaly spoken with a Polish Forces member and confirmed it.
They make a full line of Desert and Woodland Pantera gear. From ponchos to waterproofs, and everything in between. Anything I need, I don't hesitate to look at Helikon stuff first. Mainly because the price is excellent, as is the quality.
MIWO stuff looks really good. I think my field shirt you are asking about is made by KAMA

Polish_Legion September 11th, 2011 00:32

Yeah I looked into it and your right, KAMA does make your shirt ;)
