overall a very sour deal, overcharged on shipping among others, sent part not packaged properly then blames it on Canada Post, will not deal with again, not worth the headache |

CanadaPost recognized that they were responsible for the damaged the item and I won my claim against them. The buyer has received full refund and was always kept informed within 24h of any new event. The "overcharge" was less than 2 bucks and is simply the difference between CanadaPost's shipping estimate tool, and PayPal shipping tool's discounted rate. Yes, I do blame CanadaPost for mishandling the package. And CanadaPost proved me right by siding in my favor. -- I sent Bagger the CanadaPost claim info, including the estimated delay for them to process it, within hours of getting that info. I told Bagger I'd keep him updated whenever something new happenned. But nothing happened within 7 days (5 business days) so no, I did not email him to say nothing (had happenned), especially since we hadn't reached CanadaPost's estimated delay yet. -- It didn't pan out as either of us wanted it to. But he's got full refund, and I've done the best I could despite a complete lack of cooperation from his end. |
