one guy i know had a similar problem with the gun not firing. It turned out that one of his gears had multiple teeth broken off maybe have another look at inside your mechbox.

I don't know all the details, but I just got an aeg in the mail and it fired about 10 bbs then nothing. First thing I did was take the bottom plate off of the handguard. There it was, one of the motors leads had popped off. 2 minute fix.

PS: It was the one on the lower left|

I had this too, only the part it connected to broke off. Got it soldered back on and motor has a perfect connection now.

Would any of you know an easy way to tell if its a wire, or a connetion problem?

Have you tested the motor externally to make sure you soldered it correctly?

Yup, I used a 9v battery and touched both of the connecters onto the legs of the motor, and the motor does get power this way.

it sounds like either a wire is loose in the mechbox or the trigger contacts aren't making a proper connection. Or it could be something as simple as a blown fuse. Your best bet would be to get it to a gun doc and they can do a proper troubleshoot on it to find out exactly what's wrong.

I am tryingt o do all I can without taking it to a professional. It would be cheaper, and I will learn how to work with the internals. I currently have the lower gearbox in peices, and on a couple spots of the wiring, it looks as if a gear has chewed it up. I will be putting new wiring in it and if that does not work, I'll take it to a Doc.
