If like you say, you are interested in the highest accuracy then I have to say you need to buy a Taiwanese version KSC (Taiwanese generally have metal, Japanese version KSC are plastic)

They have incensed/full trademarks unlike almost every other manufacturer out there. Many of them even have serial numbers and the real patent numbers. I can't even find a "KSC" or "Made in Taiwan" or "Made in Japan" marking on my KSC guns. They are made exactly to resemble the real thing.

With KJW, you'll get things like KJW, Made in Taiwan, 6mm calibur, etc. on them.

-EDIT crow eaten. I was mistaken. I have only ever handled KJWs made for the US market so I should have kept my mouth shut

Crow eaten. All the ones that I have personally seen have those markings. Maybe it's because they were for the American market.

TM AKs have always had the faux wood. Nice to know that TM puts some some metal bodied AKs, all a person would really ever need is a wood kit for an authentic feel.

your missing a couple more. Basically every new AEG done by TM in the last few years.

The SOPMOD, the Type 89, and a whole smattering of different AK varrients. I think they all use either version 8 or version 9 boxes, And of them except the type 89 have EBB features.

I am just a lowely noob who plinks around with his gun, so take this with a grain of salt

I have a Jing Gong M4 S-System and I think that it is an awesome first gun.

The thing is 80% metal, and it has nice heavy and solid feel to it.

It shoots hard and straight and there are tons of accesories that you can add on to it, if thats your thing.

I believe that it is a TM clone, so upgrading it should be possible.

I have never gamed this gun so I can say what the long term reliability is like, but if it is a decent quality, inexpensive, mostly metal gun that you are after, you can't go wrong with Jing Gong (JG) IMHO.

As far as a GBB pistol goes, I started with a KSC - G18C which is all polymer on the outside and I think that it is a pretty fair representation of the real thing.

The thing is cool because it shoots in either semi or full automatic modes. It is however a little finicky, so I don't know if you would want it as your primary pistol that you use in a game.

If I knew then, what I know now, I would have started with a TM - 5.1 Hi-Capa.

Later
