Heres what I think, get a set of Paintball goggles, then for a semi "tacticool" loudout get the ESS, Desert Locust or Arena Flakjacks
Do they sell any in local stores?

here's some photos of the goggles. BY those were taking with my BlackBerry Bold 9700 coming to a local phone store near you soon

Army Issue in Port Credit sells ESS goggles.

And as has been said, don't wear any goggles you cant shoot point blank and not see any damage. Be it spider webbing, chips or anything like that. The higher power gun the better. If it doesn't pass that then don't bother wearing them. ESS are rated for 12 gauge shotgun blasts so ESS is a very good choice.

Wow, BBs will go through snowboarding goggles like bullets through butter. They are super-thin, brittle, and not designed to stop anything but fluffy snow. You are underestimating the power behind a BB. A BB can shoot straight through lab goggles.

Don't wear snowboarding goggles. Don't wear anything you haven't tested by shooting point-blank first.

When you are wearing your balaclava, you will also most likely fog through your goggles to the point where you can't see unless you have a pair with good ventilation or even a fan solution.

When looking for an eye solution, look for an ANSI z87.1 rating. This is the minimum rating you should accept.

Even with that rating, do a test. There are fake products out there.

I wont forsure, they are all too fat and stick out. I will look into ballistic and paint ball goggles.

Paintball goggles are allowed everywhere, ballistics goggles are only allowed at non paintball fields and they're the minority.
Not up around Ottawa area, or Montreal area for that matter (if one ever goes to play there).

And, last I heard, paintball goggle ratings are flakey at best since a lot of PB goggles makers have to pay to get them fully rated, so they cheap out and only go for basic. Tactical goggles like the Bolles are rated much higher out of necessity.

If I ever show up at a field and get turned away because of my Bolle 800s, at least I know my eyes are better protected by them, and I'll just head home. Not worth risking my eyes because of what a paintball field requires me to wear (and considering most PB goggles don't fit my face well, leaving a LOT of open gaps where BBs can enter...............)

As i posted earlier, The only thing that will pass at flagraiders are official Paintball goggles.

Just buy a set of JT goggles, They are cheap, fairly widely available, pass all of the safety tests.

Never had the luxury of playing in Ottawa yet but I do play games in Montreal, for those occasions I do have better eye protection to use. Unfortunately down here though most of the games are hosted at paintball fields, thus the need for paintball goggles.

that place too......Egh last time I went to flag raiders the goggles smelt like a 45 year old world of warcraft player who hasnt seen a day of light or a shower since he got kicked out of high school. it was gross, Id rather smell a skunk than wear those things again. Worse thing of all they were wet so it soaked the smell into my hearwear

You talking about their rentals?

yea, those smell like balls, and fog like mad. Not that you can see through all the goggle scratches anyways.

What i was referring too is their retail store where they sell new equipment.

Ya, fair enough, to them a water balloon is more dangerous than a small solid plastic ball travelling at a higher velocity, so I won't argue with them or the insurance companies. I've played at a couple PB fields over the years, once near Ottawa, three times at Mirabel Paintball, non of them care what you wear for eye protection, as long as it'll withstand a BB. And we sign waivers for those that host the event, not with the field owner, so maybe that's the difference.
