Anyone bought a nun-chuck Elite 9.6V 3300V, 4000V, or 5000V for the Classic Army M15A4 CQB or any CA crane stock? The reason why im asking is because I want to make sure that the battery fits. Ive corresponded with Mike who is the owner of cheapbatterypacks.com but I just wanted to see your experiences with the fit of this battery with your CA crane stocks. Thanks

Can't say with that one specifically, but I can say this, as it is somewhat on topic.

Elite 5000mah 10.8V battery fits into the G&P marine battery stock (long, not shorty).
They aren't super massive. Just don't get 14g wire like I did. Makes it a tight fit.

But it should fit into that stock.

I've got/had several crane stocks...I know that Elite 3600mah cells fit and it's a bit of a tight fit (i.e. if the wiring's thick or the shrink wrap was double thick it'd be a really tight squeeze). 3300's should fit fine...can't say about any of the others.

Are the diameters of the cells different?

Anyways...3000+ is plenty for all day shooting.

9.6V can be a pain in the ass so far as the middle pack is concerned. Might be just me, but I've never had much luck with not chopping up the wiring or cutting up the pack with the stock tube.

Hey Tys, thanks for your reply. The diameter of my buffer tube is 27mm and the tightest diameter of the crane stock is 25mm. I contacted Mike and he said that the diameter of the Elite 3300 are 23.11mm + 3mm for the shrink wrap, for a total of 26.11mm. I should be able to cram this in my crane stock right?

The other option is an Elite 4000 battery which is slightly smaller. Its only 22.86mm + 3mm for the shrink wrap, for a total of 25.86mm. This one might be slightly more expensive but its a few mm smaller than the 3300.

Ideally, i would like to go with the 3300 since its cheaper and I dont usually shoot for a very long time. What do you think?
