Question M60-ish machine AEG Machine gun in Canada?

Hey folks!
This seems like a noobish question so i put it here, feel free to move it.
I'm doing some research for a friend and he's interested in a BIG AEG similar to an M60. Yes we are both 18+(Waiting to be AV'ed) but the only one I can seem to find is the STAR version, which is NOT getting through customs. Anyone know a Canada friendly model or should I just wait for the AV and look through here?

Age verification is the ONLY way to get one. you'll need to lurk the classifieds till one pops up (though I think there may be one right now) or get a retailer to import one for you.

There are a number of companies that make M60 AEGs.

Star M60 should be right off your list, any Star M60 would be fairly old stock. Star had a split with its manufacturer, who now produces product for itself under the brand name Ares. Ares stuff represent a general improvement over that of Star', if you're keen on an economic, modern M60.

VFC and Inokatsu make M60s as well. VFC makes more modern variants, Ino makes the 'Nam stuff. They're top notch and hella expensive (not just in Canada).

You can probably get any of the above through the classifieds, but it'll take a while. Which one you get heavily depends on how much money you've got.

He's looking at saving for a while for it, so price can be fairly high, mostly looking at quality, and what is out there for now. Thx for the help! Again awaiting AV..

I do believe there was an Inokatsu M60 available in the classifieds just recently. Getting age verified would certainly help you out. I should also point out that the M60 - especially the better versions - are going to set you back a LOT of money.

I purchased mine with no mark up and it still cost 1600 USD. You could expect to pay at least 2400 canadian dollars for an Inokatsu M60 in Canada.
