I've seen some people take traditional PB masks and cut them down. They remove the sections covering the cheek area and leave a small section in front that covers the mouth. Having that extra material removed from your cheeks should allow for use of iron sights.

You could also go with one of the Sykes masks that ILLusion sells. I have one but have yet to use it in a game. Reasonably comfortable solution, but prolonged use may be a different story. Jugglez (Airsoftparts.ca) sells a similar type of facemask as well. Check them out.

I have a JT paint ball mask that I cut down in the check area. This allows me to use my iron sights pretty well and still protects the teeth. To tell the truth though I like using my Strategy goggles more then the full PB mask and taking a chance with the teeth. As far as any fogging issues both the JT mask and the Strategy googles work fine.

The two masks that i mentioned allow me to use iron sights on my gun. but again, why would you want to use them anyway?

I wear the lower half of the sensei mask zip tied to ESS NVG Goggles. Or a JT mask if I'm on a field which requires a paintball mask.

Don't skimp on the calcium or dentist checkups. Your basic line of defence remains the quality of your teeth.

Same here. I used to use a neoprene half-mask, but could not stand it.

So it's either a mouthguard or the mask. Both work well and do not fog up, but comms are a bit of a pain with the mouthguard

he has a unique set up using a ...
for the lack of a better description.. a "mouth guard"
but its not something you put in your mouth...
it doesnt cause fogging, and it allows you to speak normally.
cant quote me on this, but i think it can stand up to 400 fps shots at point blank....

he had these available for sale on JOC for quite some time.

I tried full face paintball mask first: Total failure in many ways.
I then tried a mouth guard. Failure. No comunications possible. Hard to manage drinking and eating in games.

I now use common sence. Don't smile, talk or breath with mouth open in a casual sense. If out of breath in a heavy fire exchance, cover your mouth with your hand.

If I rush into a room in CQB, I do so covering my mouth with my hand. It look dumb, but I keep my teeths. It saved me a couple of time.

I tried a mouth guard, cut off part of it so it doesn't stick out and look weird...but it didn't really work that well...so now I just keep my mouth shut. Which is actually quite hard because people make me laugh and smile for most of the game

I wrapped a thin scarf around my mouth a couple of times, i took a few dings off the face but no teeth... was ok. main problem for me is when im running and gasping for air.... but you learn.

I plan on wearing my orthodontic retainer- its clear plastic covers half my teeth i can talk normally and it protects the exposed part of my whites
