GBB's @ Mopic Airsoft

Which GBB pistol at mopic airsoft http://www.mopicairsoft.ca/GBB_s.html
Would be most reliable/sturdy/well built/accurate/powerful one to purchase? I have read that WE pistols break easier, but what about KJW and KWA?

KWA is the best of his guns, they tend to be for the hardcore gamer and KSC/KWA are about the same and also have parts abundant on many sites.

WE is okay but will eventually break. Good thing is it is TM compatible you can just gut and replace with aftermarket parts, except some models might not fit well with aftermarket parts. Small subtleties may occur in which you must file down certain parts.

KJW should be ranked last of his selection. From most of the reviews I was looking at there seems to be a common problem of them eatting themselves, meaning the metal parts start to shred and die. Which is the same problem as WE

I puchased the KWA 1911DS PTP from him a while back - the only problem I had was the Hop Up Bucking was starting to chew away, I think it was a friday install of the hop up assembly, replaced that and haven't had a problem since. Very powerful and accurate pistol. I comes with the pistol, hop up wrench, and a small vile of silicone, but as with most, if not all?, KWA pistols it did not include a manual.

I'm about to purchase the Beretta M9 PTP which will be done Monday after I bitch to the bank :P.

That's my two cents anyway.

Does anyone know if high capacity mags are available for the KWA mp ptp? The ones that stick out of the handgrip and can hold more bb's.

My manual says that there is a hi-cap magazine for the PTP. Where you find it is another thing.

I don't know about the WE, but KJW has two 1911 models. One that's co2 and one that's propane. I'm pretty sure the co2 model can take propane mags but I know for sure the propane model can't take the co2 mags, not that it would stress it (though it would) but that the mags wouldn't even fit in the gun.

If your wanting durability avoid both.

Performance on the WE is O.K. but they have more issues then they are worth (IMO), KJW's are compete crap, performance is ( from all that I've owned) garbage.

Now if you just want something that looks good in a holster.....then maybe a WE or KJW.

I owned a KJW m9 elite (full metal) and it was by far the best gbb I owned.
It was the last Gbb I had. I have owned a WA 92fs , KSC g17 , g19 a WA single stack 1911 and a 4.3" infinity SV. The KJW was the most accurate most reliable and had the fewest problems. I did a few small mods on it when I got it and never had a problem with it.

Again from my KJW M9 elite, the mag leaked chronicly, I was lucky to have it shoot .2's out to 50 feet and the accuracy was horrible. It never did break I have to admit.....however it never really worked all that well either.

Once I switched up to .25's the accuracy got marginally better but range was still horrible.

My KJW 1911 was the same, heavy, worked but range was horrible and the accuracy was also horrible.

I now have a TM P226, sold my first one and kicked myself as I was so impressed with it's performace I ended up buying another.

My KSC Glock 17 and the 19 I had were hands down better then either of my KJW's both in performance and accuracy.

I think lupo you many have been one of the lucky ones. I can say my experiences with my KJW's are not one of the few as there have been many reviews found that mirror them.

As I posted in my reply it was based off of my opinon ( IMO ) and perhaps the newer makes are better?

I too have got a KJW m9 and it has served me very well for a long time, only problem I've had with it is the plastic mag catch wore out. Other then that it's great. I have a KJW 1911 single stack now but I only just got it so I haven't had a chance to game it yet. But I don't doubt it'll do a good job.

I'll also vouch for the KJW M9. It was my first GBB. It's seen thousands of rounds. Other than the mag catch wearing out, the gun shoots hard (about 310 fps) and is extremely accurate. The down side is that the mags tend to leak after a while. But the gun itself is excellent. I hear the newer generation models will accept TM mags, although I know mine won't take them.

KWA are basically KSC guns made in Taiwan instead of Japan. And they come with metal slides instead of plastic. I can also vouch for that, as my KSC Glock is my main field gun. The thing is a beast.

I would't recommend WE unless it's the High Capa. While they tend to break easily, the High Capa is 100% TM compatible, so replacement and upgrade parts are readily available at reasonable prices. Avoid the WE 1911 as they tend to be problematic and aren't compatible with anything, so replacement parts are almost nonexistent.

They are compatible with a number of TM internals and WA body parts, just not all of them.

buy a tm pistol and join the ranks of folks who never complain about pistols.

tm first overall then i d go with ksc glocks, other than that ive never had good experience personally with we, kjw or hfc so i avoid them.

there are quite a few who disagree so read what those folks have to say about those other brands before purchasing them.
