Colorado Milsim is proud to announce one of the most anticipated events of 2008 – OP: Sudden Strike II featuring the US Commander VIP – Sgt. Major Ed Bugarin a former 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment – Delta (Delta Force) leader.

Mr. Bugarin brings over 11 and ½ years of leadership and combat experience in Delta Force, which was previously unseen in the airsoft community. Serving in Iran, Beruit, and other missions & conflicts, Mr. Bugarin has committed his time under the condition that a percentage of the proceeds go to fund the Special Operations and Warriors Foundation – a 501(c)(3) organization that provides scholarships to the children of fallen special forces operators.

We can't bring our guns down there and expect to get back with them. Limiting your OP to US based camo only is pretty weak as well.

Yes, tricky for us gun wise, but thanks for posting the details. I am glad you are only using US camo for a US themed game. Makes perfect sense to me. Hope it works out well, sounds like a good time.

If there was a possibility of renting a gun, I'd certainly consider it. There are some crazy huge games in the states I hear

No, not really. Look at any of the large events held in the US, where they have a true Milsim...Op Irene series, Lion Claws, Etc. You usually have two US based camo patterns ( Woodland, 3 color Desert ). For large games it makes it easier to run without having six different patterns, where some look like the others at a distance.

Lets also remember it's hosted in the US where 99% of the players are going to be attending from.

That said if there was a large enough group coming from Canada that all wanted to wear Cadpat the event organizers might consider allowing them to squad up under one side or the other.

These large games though are not like what we experience up here, they often have a true command structure with ranks that are followed in the field. It's an experience that I hope to someday attend some of these large games, rental AEG's or not.

Amen. I definately will be into a US roadtrip if we can ever get serious enough players to attend.
