The legal Process is the punishment, not the conviction. Even if you are cleared, it will still end up costing thousands to defend. A good lawyer is not enough, a lawyer must be engaged in your case, and take a pesonal interest.
Sounds like your brother is a shit rat. I hope now your parents will show him the door. Bringing stolen property into the family home. Never shit where you sleep! Good luck, this court case will drag on for a least a year.

Go get your stuff back from them. They where in for the 360. I beleive they did not have the right to take anything else unless the warrent stated otherwise.

i have no idea what it said, if i was there i surly would have asked to read it, once the court date comes around i told my father to get me a copy of the list of all things taken by the police, anything not on that list that is still missing i will assume was stolen by my brother and his friends (like my copy of gears of war)

all of my Airsoft stuff on the other hand is very very safe atm.

and yes my brother is a shit rat thats for sure god knows how many times iv be cleaning the house and find a pipe or a dime or something even things like vials. the day i find a needle is the day i beat his ass and risk going to jail.

oh btw bongs make a great impromptu target

Only incident I had like this was when my dad took off and was missing for about 7 hours (he's diabetic so my mom was worried like hell) she called the police for help, sent an officer here, and for whatever reason he searched all the rooms quickly.
Bad for me I was tinkering with few of my airsoft guns (just maintaining stuff) he looked closely for about a min and just moved on. I can't recall a moment in my life I was more scared.

Best wishes though to your family and your items It doesn't make sense they took other things when pretty sure the warrent only would say "Xbox 360"

They got a search warrant together for some stupid kids 360 in less than 24 hours? I find that hard to believe. Kid must've had connections.

*shrugs, don't as me man.

based off the pics i saw of the house i could see how they were so fast to hand out warrants, my guess is the 360 wasn't the only stolen item, ill see if i cant get my hands on the pics so you guys can see, its just retarded.

If ever a officer has a warrant to search your house ask them for your copy of the warrent, most of the time they dont make a copy of the original and if they cant give you the copy they cant get in.

from what iv heard it all comes down to the cop, one can look at it and say "ya its just a toy" another can say "thats a replica firearm"

based off what iv been told about the Sargent in charge of the search he was the kind to say its a replica and charge me

oh nice loophole pawscal ill keep that in the back of my head, hope to god i never come into a situation where ill need it though
