Parents going to Japan

Shortly, my parent will be going on a trip to japan, but i am not sure where they will be spending most of there time. I was just wondering, is there anything in japan, airsoft wise, that i should think about asking them to pick up for me? Not guns, or things that cant be imported, but scopes, rails, (mags?) that would be a bargin, or hard to find here that would be a good idea to get. Thanks!

Hm, I think you should ask yourself whether your parents are capable of hunting down the parts you need. For example, I personally wouldn't trust my parents to find any airsoft parts for me, as I could as for a set of v3 gears and end up with a set for v6 or something.

Even worse, they could pick a part that is prohibited and try to bring that back... then "surprise".

That's another reason to patiently wait until you are 18+... you can then do all of that yourself.

I know you managed to be able to play in BC at 16, so why not have your parents order stuff from a Canadian Retailer? It's a much safer option for you and more importantly for them.

Don't buy scopes, sights, etc in Japan. They are a hell of a lot more expensive than they are here in Canada. I see TASCO RDS's in various shops (the same you'd see in Canadian Tire for $30) selling for $120.

The only real thing that's a lot cheaper would be the guns themselves and magazines, but good luck getting those across the border without fucking up your parents criminal record.

No, no, i was just thinking of things that are cheaper, and hard to find that would be good to get in japan. I can order things from a canadian retailer, my dad is ok with helping me with that. And i dont think i will have the chance, to go to japan for quite some time..

I would do what greylocks says and just keep it inside canada, because now adays even having a magazine will screw you, let alone anything that looks like it belongs on a weapon might set off some alarms in airports. People are touchy.

Pretty much the only thing you'd be able to buy is internal parts. The stuff that you should stock up on are things like shims, buckings, and hop-ups, small parts that you may have to replace. These items are cheap to get in Japan relative to here.
