Burlap or Polyester Ghillie

Ok, I'm just wonder what the difference between the burlap and polyester ghillie suits are. The polyester one is 70 dollars cheaper than burlap. Why?

Burlap is more expensive material, and polyester is cheaper. Burlap is also higher quality and doesnt tear easily.

Well, burlap is heavier because its thicker. So when your crawling around on the ground and it gets stuck on something, it wont tear as easily as polyester.

You also want to be able to dye the burlap to match the colors of your AO and also fray the strands to further break up your outline. You can do neither with polyester.

Dunno, not familiar with it. Was pretty muc going with some of the "Helmet Scrim" I've seen sold at places like CP Gear, ends up being a bunch of green, tan and black Cordura strips that'd hide a person well in Walmart (alongside the MARPAT displays of clothes) but sucks in natural environments.

burlap is as effective as it is flammable

Dunno if I'd be more comfortable with wearing something flammable, or wearing something that is flammable that will cause molten synthetic material to stick to my skin like napalm. I think I'd rather have the burlap, espeically if it's been treated.
